VIN or Vehicle Identification Number, by Yutivo called Serial Number

     123bby Y xxxxxx Z

where
      1 = Chevrolet
      2 = Camaro
      e = 3 for 6-cylinder engine
      bb = 37 for coupe body
      y = 7 for 1967 model,
          8 for 1968 model, or
          9 for 1969 model
      Y = Y for Yutivo assembly, Paco Manila
      xxxxxx = vehicle serial number sequence
      Z = XCO number (A would be car 1 and B would be
            car 2 and so on, I and O was not used making 24
            letters available for each XCO.)

Each batch of Yutivo vehicle parts was ordered from GM and identified by XCO (Export Car Order) numbers, each XCO consisted of 24 units.

At the plant, the vehicle serial number
started the year at the following number:

    150001 for 1967 models
    120001 for 1968 models
    184001 for 1969 models

Example: 123379Y184019Y, is the 23rd car in the XCO and the 19 XCO for the year, making it car (18x24 + 23) 455 produced in the 1969 year.

1967 - 1969 Yutivo Camaro Paint codes.

The Yutivo plant used their own paint codes. Below the VIN are the codes for the exterior paint, sometimes the code from the US window sticker was used, as the example above where 917 is "Champagne". However mostly Yutivo used codes which were totally different from the US based paint codes. No record of the Yutivo paint codes exists, all the paint codes recorded by this website is through own research.
