These
pictures from when the car was still in Cebu and wearing its ghastly resale red
color. Recently Fer started the restoration of the car and luckily under the red
paint we found that the car was originally Cortez Silver. Nice and pretty rare
color combination Cortez silver with red deluxe interior. One more 69 Yutivo is
known to have this combination, whereas another 69 Cortex Silver Yutivo had
black deluxe interior. Seems like Silver was popular at Yutivo in 69.
Cool very old school magstyle
hubcaps, as it left the Yutivo factory with, parts of the exterior style trim
grup missing and the 250 badge has been removed.
Original Interior, no
headrest whereas US version in 69 all have headrests. Also note the rare Radio
Delete plate, RS steering wheel, woodgrain accents on dash and console. Center
clock is a nice option as well.
Reasonably undisturbed
engine bay, aftermarket aircon added and construction site plastic tubing is a
specially "nice" touch. Proudly shown the Yutivo badge and even has original air
cleaner and splash guards. Note the heater delete.
Fer plan to keep the
original 250 engine, not the fastest engine for a 69 Camaro, but future plans
calls for something like this:
