The aluminum head and intake L89
396 cui motor was rated at 375hp with its solid lifter cam. The engine
suffix i 69 on the block was JJ for the 4 speed and JM for the automatic
cars. It is a rare engine option. Below
the L89 without the cowl induction option, RPO code ZL2 hood is needed for the
cowl induction setup.
