The Pick-up SUV

For daily transportation the family has since February 2003 relied on this Ford pick-up truck/SUV, it has now passed the 90000km mark. Its a 4.0 (245 cui) V6 with a 5 speed automatic. These cars became rather popular here in the Philippines because of the low tax on the vehicles.

We recently replaced all four shock absorbers to Old Man Emu Nitrocharger long travel off road shocks and I must say it greatly improved the handling of the car, the back end stepping as the Explorers are notorious for is gone. The handling only appears slightly stiffer.
